Atlanta police have released surveillance camera footage which shows three men believed to have attacked and robbed a pedestrian in Midtown over Labor Day weekend.
The victim told Atlanta police that he was walking south on Juniper Street toward 5th Street when two black males punched him in the 800 block of Juniper Street at 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. After being knocked to the pavement, the robbers continued beating him and eventually stole his wallet and iPhone, an Atlanta police report says.

Security camera footage reviewed by Atlanta police at the time of the incident showed a black male walking alongside the victim when another black male came up from behind and struck the victim in the back of the head, the report says. A third black male approached the victim and all three began kicking him before fleeing toward 6th Street and then toward Peachtree Street.
Footage released Friday shows three black males walking into a nearby CVS store attempting to use the victim’s credit cards, 11 Alive News says. The footage from the CVS clearly shows the three men’s faces.
