The sliding glass stores to the store were smashed with a large rock and more than 200 pairs of jeans were stolen, according to police.

Atlanta police are attempting to locate the person or persons responsible for a smash-and-grab burglary at Atlantic Station which cost one retailer over $30,000 in stolen merchandise alone.

According to a police report, officers were dispatched to the Dillard’s at Atlantic Station on the morning of Sept. 8 after store management discovered the store’s sliding glass windows were shattered by a large rock and some 200 pairs of Rock Revival jeans were missing. The jeans retail at $169 a pair, according to the report. The store manager said he also noticed four Ralph Lauren hoodies worth $145 each were also missing.

All told, Dillard’s lost around $34,380 worth of merchandise in the burglary.

Hours before the burglary, Dillard’s employees overheard the people captured in the above security camera footage saying that they were going to carry out a smash and grab burglary at the department store, according to information released Wednesday by Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.
