“Pop Up Chef” Lunch Season Opener Thursday
Chef Ron Eyester of Rosebud and The Family Dog scheduled to be on the Plaza at 999 Peachtree cooking up tasty bites.

A week after Mother Nature washed out the kickoff to the 2013 “Pop Up Chef” season in Midtown, inclement weather again is threatening today. But it looks like the wet stuff should holds off until after the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. event at 999 Peachtree.
Returning after two successful seasons, Pop Up Chef will again be revving up midday appetites every Thursday with tasty lunch bites from local chefs. Prices are dependent on each chef’s menu, and vary from $3 to $9.
Thursday it will be Ron Eyester of Rosebud and The Family Dog. He will be on the Plaza cooking up:

The Un-Po'Boy: marinated Gulf shrimp with Rosebud bread n' butter pickles, sweet peppers and lemon-scented cabbage.
BBQ Chicken & Grits: braised-then-pulled BBQ Springer Mountain chicken thighs over Riverview Farms grits with collard green salsa verde.

Pop Up Chef will take place each Thursday on the corner of Peachtree and 10th streets.
Guests can expect an impressive series lineup this year, with chefs from renowned restaurants including Serpas, 4th & Swift, Empire State South, Cakes & Ale, and Watershed to name a few.
