Reality TV Star Signs Copies of Her New Novel in Midtown
'Real Housewives of Atlanta' cast member Sheree Whitfield was on hand for author spotlight panel, social mixer.

ATLANTA, GA -- Reality TV star Sheree Whitfield signed copies of her new novel at a weekend event in Midtown Atlanta.
Whitfield's book "Wives, Fiancées, and Side-Chicks of Hotlanta" is a reality TV treatment of her life in Atlanta. The book went on sale last week.
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star was on hand as part of "Cocktails and Conversations," a talk series sponsored by African Americans on the Move Bookclub (AAMBC). Atlanta's literary crowd turned out for the event, which featured a panel spotlighting celebrity authors.

Celebrity stylist Gocha Hawkins, and Dj Fadelf Jackson from the "Being Mary Jane" TV series talked to attendees about what it takes to make it in the book world, including how author's market their material and how to begin the writing process.

Hawkins also signed copies of her book "Gocha's Blueprint to Business 101: 7 Quick Tips to Being a Boss."

"It's about business. It's about being an entrepreneur, it's about saving and investing and being a boss," Hawkins told Patch. Hawkins stars in the reality TV show "L.A. Hair."
