Thanksgiving Weather Forecast in Georgia: Warm Holiday With Slight Chance for Showers

Following a warm holiday and Black Friday, temperatures will cool for the weekend. But we'll still be dry for most of it, too.

ATLANTA, GA — We'll finally see a slight chance for some showers Wednesday night and into the morning Thanksgiving, but most of the day will be dry and warm, according to the National Weather Service.

It'll be a windy Wednesday, with winds up to 10 mph, keeping temperatures in the mid-60s. There's a 30 percent chance of showers into Thursday morning, mainly before 10 a.m.

The rest of the holiday will be partly sunny, with a high near 69 degrees. Friday will see similar temperatures, before a drop to the low 60s — along with much colder overnight lows — for the weekend.
