Fox Theatre hosts its 4th Annual Ghost Tours this October with tickets on-sale Friday, September 9.

ATLANTA, GA - The Fox Theatre invites patrons for a howling good time as it will host its fourth annual Fox Theatre Ghost Toursthis Halloween season starring a motley crew of historical spirits and specters. Beginning Oct. 9, Guests will walk the haunted halls of one of the city’s most treasured landmarks to learn about ghastly sightings or unexplained bumps in the night.
Ghost Tours Schedule:
Sunday, October 9 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 11 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 12 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Friday, October 14 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 30 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The specialty tours will run up to every 20 minutes and are approximately 60 minutes long. Tickets are $30 each (plus applicable fees) and go on-sale Friday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. at www.FoxTheatre.org, the Fox Theatre ticket office and by calling 855-285-8499. The ghost tours are not recommended for children under the age of 10; children under 6 are not permitted. To inquire about booking a private tour or a group of 20 or more, please contact the theatre at (404) 881-2100.
Spooks and scares will be around every shadowy corner as guides recount supernatural tales collected from theatre staff and contractors over the years. Guests will explore the boiler room, the current residence of Fox’s most famous ghost – Roosevelt, who passed away in 1945. He is known to unexpectedly slam doors, hit things and turn lights off, especially if you disturb him while he works to stoke the boilers or tend to his beloved equipment.

Other spooky stops include the hospital room, power room and sub-basement areas, including the stage freight elevator.
Over the years, many of the staff and more than a few patrons have claimed to have felt a sudden chill, seen a shadowy figure float along the walls or heard the slow creaking of a door shutting close without cause . . . will you?
