First Friday Concert in Monroe for July 5 Cancelled

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the First Friday concert scheduled for July 5 has been rescheduled.

According to a posting on the Facebook page of Monroe Downtown, the Cat Daddies will not be performing on the Monroe Historic Courthouse square at this time, but will be brought back at a later date. The Jagged Stones concert in June also had to be postponed after the concert was washed out before they could take to the stage. That performance has been rescheduled for Aug. 16, 2013. It is not yet known when the performance by the Cat Daddies will take place.

At this time, Rockasaurus and Funky-Bluester are scheduled to perform on Aug. 2, the Jagged Stones on Aug. 15 and the summer concert series is scheduled to wrap up on Sept. 16 with the Swingin’ Medallions.
