Man Charged With Shooting Two of His Own Dogs: Walton County Sheriff's Office Alerts

The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Jan. 7-8.

Zone 5

 
Animal Complaint – A subject was arrested on Grady Smith Rd. for shooting two of his own dogs.
 
Suspicious Person – A suspicious person was observed at the entrance of the Providence Club subdivision. Walton County deputies checked the area; no one suspicious was found in the area.


Zone 6

 
Damage to Property – The windows were busted out of a vehicle on Harold Gower Lane. No items were reported missing.
 
Agency Assist – Loganville Police Department chased a subject driving a stolen vehicle to a location on Hwy 78 @ Broadnax Mill Rd. The driver ran from the vehicle but was apprehended soon after.
 
 
Zone 7
 
Burglary – Electrical wiring was taken from a vacant residence off Hwy 138. Extra patrol was requested.

Arrest – Carl Rice Jr. was arrested at the Walnut Grove Waffle House for an outstanding warrant.
