Oconee County Grand Jury Hands Down Indictments on Two Monroe Men
Indictments were for burglary in the first degree. Criminal indictments are not evidence of guilt; they are only charges. Defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Two Monroe men were indicted in Oconee County for first degree burglary following the latest Grand Jury session that ended September 2012. The charges were filed with Oconee County Clerk of Superior Court on Nov. 5.
According to the indictment, nt accuses Turpin and Young of entering two homes on Choyce Johnson Road on July 26, 2012 with the intent to commit theft.
