• City of Monroe Police Department K9s get donation of body armor (monroelocal.org) — Monroe’s police K9s D-Man and Debo are now protected with new bullet- and stab-resistant vests donated through the nonprofit Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The vests were sponsored by Richard and Ashley Miley of Catch 22 Gastropub in Monroe, honoring Cy Nunnally and POW/MIA service members while highlighting a national program supporting law-enforcement dogs.
