Vote for MAHS Champion Purple Hurricanes as Fox 5 Sports Team of the Week

As the recently crowned Region 8 AAAA Champions, Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes are currently leading the vote to be Fox 5 Sports Team of the Week for Friday's game. They need your vote to put them over the top. Voting ends at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Cast your vote here .

At 2 p.m. Monday, the Canes held 51.2 percent of the vote. Just behind them are the Griffin Bears with 45.5 percent, Carver Atlanta Panthers with 1.4 percent, Kell Longhorns with 1.1 percent and Loganville Red Devils with 0.8 percent.
