9K Gallons of Sewage Spills Off Buford Highway
The sewage poured out of a manhole cover and into Peachtree Creek, according to the AJC.

More than 9,000 gallons of raw sewage poured out of a manhole cover on Buford Highway and into Peachtree Creek on Thursday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The cause of the spill is unknown, but it was repaired by a plumber hired by a private business owner in 3400 block of Buford Highway.
The county is readying a $1.35 billion upgrade to its water and sewer system in the next year to meet federal Environmental Protection Agency demands.
