First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is now accepting applications for the 2026 cohort of its Epiphany program, a faith-based social entrepreneurship incubator supporting startups tackling today’s most pressing challenges. Epiphany is an evergreen initiative that equips entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to social issues with funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance. If you are an emerging founder with a vision to address societal challenges often overlooked by traditional markets, Epiphany offers the resources needed to help your venture grow. Examples of qualifying ventures include businesses that employ formerly incarcerated individuals or adults with developmental challenges, as well as enterprises offering services such as coding training for refugees or mechanical skills development in low-income communities. Since its launch, Epiphany has awarded nearly half a million dollars in grants and supported multiple successful ventures, including Refuge Coffee Co., PadSplit, and Purposeful Gourmet Foods. Diner fans in North Druid Hills may find themselves disappointed with this news: has closed. It was the only legit diner in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff community, and its closure apparently occurred several weeks ago, <a href="http://www.tonetoatl.com/2012/09/the-atlanta-diner-closed-who-knew.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to Tomorrow's News Today</a>. From their post: <blockquote> The restaurant had been a fixture on North Druid Hills Road, just off I-85, since the mid 90s, and it quietly closed a of couple weeks ago.  I'm not exactly sure when it closed, but it appears to have been a fairly recent development.  </blockquote> Head to the post for more information. Disappointing if you ask me. I never ate there, but I liked that idea of a 24-hour diner close to my home. Atlanta Diner was definitely in a less-than-ideal location as it was essentially wedged away from sight at 2071 North Druid Hills Road just west of the I-85 overpass. How was Atlanta Diner?
