Black 'Bull-Doggish' Dog Found, Needs Owner

A local woman found a dog off Lavista Road and wants someone to take him so he doesn't end up at the pound.

A local woman who found a black, "bull-doggish" dog roaming Lavista Road is looking for someone to take him so he doesn't end up at the pound.

Here's a note Lee-Ann Williams posted to a Yahoo! group yesterday:

I have put flyers up in my neighborhood and I hope I will find his owner. But, if not, he's off to the shelter. So, if anyone would like a young, sweet and friendly male dog, please let me know. Or, if you recognize him and think you can help us find his owner, even better. ... He is a bull-doggish kind of dog, but he's been nothing but sweet and friendly to us, including kids. (Notice the wagging tail in the photo above.) He is very puppy-like, not sure how old his is, but I would guess around a year. I found him wandering on LaVista, stopped and opened my car door, and he hopped right in. If you are a dog lover and have been wanting a playful companion, this looks like a good choice.
