Briar Vista Elementary Giving Tree Event Goes Virtual

The Briar Vista Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization's traditional Giving Tree event will go virtual this year.

NORTH DRUID HILLS, GA — The holiday season might look a little different this year, and this is no exception for some families of Briar Vista Elementary School. To accommodate public health guidance regarding the COVID-19 virus, the BVES Parent Teacher Organization's traditional holiday Giving Tree will be going virtual this year, according to an email from the BVES PTO.

Those wishing to participate in the Virtual Giving Tree can visit the SignUp Genius website to see each child's age, clothing size, toys requested and other personalized information. There is no limit on the number of gifts donated, and all children are BVES students.

Wrapped gifts must be dropped off at the BVES parking lot, located at 1131 Briar Vista Terrace NE, Atlanta. Donation drop offs will take place on Friday, Dec. 18 from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 19 from noon-2 p.m. Monetary donations can also be made to the BVES PTO PayPal.
