Butterfly Shot Wins Summer Photo Contest

Ann Floyd submitted three photos to the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch contest. She said she took the photo at Mason Mill Park.

We've got a winner for North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch's How I Spent My Summer photo contest.

And the winner is...

Ann Floyd! The local housekeeper was hanging out in with her camera searching for ideas for her own garden when she said she noticed the insect.

"The butterfly was distracted by the huge sunflowers, giving me several chances to capture his beauty," she wrote in an email. "Photography is my main hobby, gives me a great reason to get some exercise and enjoy the many beautiful areas of Georgia and beyond."

Floyd will be getting a Patch T-shirt as reward.
