Camp Sunshine to Present 'Wizard of Oz' at Alliance Theatre
All proceeds from the Feb. 26 show will go toward the year-round camp for children with cancer.

Lindsey Monroe over at Camp Sunshine sent me information yesterday regarding the camp's presentation of The Wizard of Oz at the Alliance Theatre on Feb. 26. All proceeds go to the year-round camp for children with cancer. Seems like a great event.

Description: Please join the campers of Camp Sunshine at this private charity performance of The Wizard of Oz at Atlanta’s nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre! All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Camp Sunshine’s year round programs for children with cancer. The classic story of the Wizard of Oz is about finding strength, love and courage, and it speaks so much to Camp Sunshine's mission of providing recreational, educational and support programs for kids with cancer and their families. This 70-minute production features iconic songs from the movie score and is filled with characters that are like childhood friends one never tires of visiting.
