First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is now accepting applications for the 2026 cohort of its Epiphany program, a faith-based social entrepreneurship incubator supporting startups tackling today’s most pressing challenges. Epiphany is an evergreen initiative that equips entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to social issues with funding, mentorship, and strategic guidance. If you are an emerging founder with a vision to address societal challenges often overlooked by traditional markets, Epiphany offers the resources needed to help your venture grow. Examples of qualifying ventures include businesses that employ formerly incarcerated individuals or adults with developmental challenges, as well as enterprises offering services such as coding training for refugees or mechanical skills development in low-income communities. Since its launch, Epiphany has awarded nearly half a million dollars in grants and supported multiple successful ventures, including Refuge Coffee Co., PadSplit, and Purposeful Gourmet Foods. If you're a burrito fan, good news in Northlake. <a href="http://chipotle.com/en-US/Default.aspx?type=default" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Chipotle</a>, the popular Mexican burrito and taco chain, is set to replace on Henderson Mill Road in Briarcliff Village, <a href="http://www.tonetoatl.com/2011/06/its-wrap-pizza-huts-downsizing-opens.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to Tomorrow's New Today, a popular Atlanta retail blog</a>. Citing anonymous sources, the report says Pizza Hut plans to leave their location by Aug. 1, and Chipotle would take over the property and begin renovations by Sept. 1. Pizza Hut fans need not worry, however. The Pizza Hut is moving to a smaller location on Briarcliff Road where it will eliminate restaurant dining and focus on delivery and take-out. Presently, the closest Chipotle in the area on North Druid Hills Road. (A location where North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch spent an inordinate amount of time until a doctor informed us of our blood pressure.) Is this part of a trend of fast-casual dining establishments coming into Northlake? Chick-fil-A on Lavista Road in May.
