Armed robbers steal $9K in cash from Buford Highway apartment
Two armed robbers stole about $9,000 from a Buford Highway apartment Monday afternoon, DeKalb County police said.
The 17-year-old victim told police he was sitting in his apartment in the Monaco Station apartment complex at 3649 Buford Highway when someone knocked on the door at about 12:20pm, the police report said.
When the teen asked who it was, someone said, "UPS," so he opened the door. The first suspect pointed his hand toward the victim with a black bag concealing what appeared to be a gun. The second suspect told the teen to be quiet.
