Local Restaurants, Pawn Shop Make Best of Atlanta List

Creative Loafing just released its Best of Atlanta 2011 survey, and several businesses in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff community made the cut. So, if you're in need of good BBQ, Vietnamese food or pawn shop stuff, it might be a solid idea to check out the following establishments...

• Community Q BBQ on Clairmont Road was named Best Barbecue: "[David] Roberts and his partners make their barbecue with local ingredients whose just-picked freshness somehow eliminates the gut bomb after-effects most 'cue can have on a person."
• Quan Ba 9 on Buford Highway was named Best Vietnamese: "This isn't your standard brusque pho house. Expect home-style Vietnamese packed with soulful, herbaceous flavor."
• on North Decatur Road was named Best Pawn Shop: "It's a small store, so it makes the shelf space count by only displaying cool [stuff] like high-end mountain bikes and reel-to-reel players."
