MJCCA's Jerry's Habima Theatre Presents 'Aladdin Jr.'

It may not be able to show you the world, but the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlantaβs Jerryβs Habima Theatre can show you a shining, shimmering and splendid performance of Disneyβs Aladdin Jr. in celebration of the theatreβs 22nd anniversary.
Jerryβs Habima Theatre, a program of the MJCCAβs Blonder Family Department for Special Needs, is Georgiaβs only theatrical company directed and produced by professionals that feature actors with special needs.
βThe participants of this special theater company achieve new levels of self-confidence, motivation, and socialization from the intensive, three-month process of rehearsals and performances,β said Lowell Fine, chair of The Blonder Family Department for Special Needs. βThis unique program provides a wonderful opportunity for developing new skills through a meaningful theater experience.β

Each year, the theater partners with local professional actors from the community to present a Broadway musical. This year, the cast takes the stage to present Disneyβs Aladdin Jr., featuring Jordan Harris as Aladdin and Katherine Burnette as Princess Jasmine.
Performances will be held at the MJCCAβs Morris & Rae Frank Theatre, located at 53242 Tilly Mill Road in Dunwoody. Tickets cost $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. For MJCCA members, tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

- Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, March 8 at 3 p.m.
