The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta hosts a variety of fall programs at the Dunwoody location. See the lineup below for more information about these events.
Pranic Healing -- Sunday - Friday, by appointment
Where: MJCCA at Zaban Park (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody)
Cost: Member/$60 (per 45-minute session). Individual session packages are available.
Details: Pranic Healing is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine developed by GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui that utilizes prana to facilitate the body and mind’s innate ability to heal. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force.

Biggest Loser: Stick With It! Challenge -- Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30 a.m., Noon, and 2:30 p.m. (October – December)

Cost: Member adult/ $225, Community adult/$280
Details: The Biggest Loser: Stick With It! Challenge is for adults who want to make a positive lifestyle change under the coaching of a professional trainer. This program is for individuals who need to lose five percent or more of their body weight. A Biggest Loser Pro will equip you with the expert training you need on proper workout routines, nutrition, and weight management.

Wellness—Smoking & Related Cancers and Prevention -- Monday, November 17, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Where: MJCCA at Zaban Park (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody)
Cost: Free and Open to the Community. Pre-registration is required.
Details: This cancer survivorship program discusses the various types of smoking-related cancers.

Lunch ‘N Learn Featuring Rabbi Laurence Rosenthal (Conservative) -- Thursday, November 20, Noon - 1 p.m.
Where: MJCCA at Zaban Park (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody)
Cost: Free and open to the community
Details: All are invited to join Rabbi Laurence Rosenthal from Ahavath Achim Synagogue for a lively class and discussion. The MJCCA Lunch ‘N Learn series features Atlanta rabbis who share unique perspectives on a topic of their choice. Guests may bring a dairy lunch or purchase Kosher food from Goodfriend’s Grill. Shabbat, Me & Rabbi G. -- Friday, November 21, 5 - 6 p.m.
Where: MJCCA at Zaban Park (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody)
Cost: Free and open to the community
Details: Bring your children to enjoy a Shabbat-related activity and story at the MJCCA Srochi Discovery Center followed by songs and blessings with Rabbi Glusman and a visit from the Weinstein School Shabbat Dinosaur. Challah and grape juice will be served.

Details: Young Adults are invited to join Rabbi Glusman, Hannah Zale, and other musicians for a unique, Shabbat celebration and rock concert. This event is a sponsored by the MJCCA and the Atlanta Jewish Music Festival.

Two Hours of Yoga! Workshop -- Sunday, December 7, 1:45 – 3:45 p.m.

Details: Recalibrate and re-set your body and mind with a two-hour yoga session that weaves the ancient teachings of the famous yoga sutras in a practical, meaningful, and accessible way.
