Sophia Academy Visits Sleepy Hollow
The school's middle school students put on a production of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" on Oct. 28.
On Oct. 28, middle school students enacted a spooky yet entertaining dramatic performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for their annual one act production. Directed by Fine Arts Director Tracey Buot and adapted by Kathryn Schultz Miller, the ane act told the story of Ichabod Crane and his fate with the headless horseman. For several students, it was their first time performing on stage for the One Act.
Afterward, eighth-grader Jackson Tucker (Ichabod Crane) said, "I was afraid I would miss a cue or skip a line, but that didn’t happen. I always forget how much fun it is to perform on stage. ... I don’t think it could have gotten any better than it was. I had a lot of fun performing with my cast members."
