The Week in Review

The top five stories from the previous week in North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch.

  1. Police Respond to Rash of Burglaries Along North Druid Hills Road: Alarming little cluster of burglaries here, but these clusters pop up likes rashes throughout the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff community every few weeks. So, it's kind of par for the course. I'm going to see if I can talk soon with the district commander to see if there's a plan to attack this problem or if this is something this community is simply going to have to deal with.
  2. Decatur Cyclists Angry About How Fatality Handled: This tragic story continues.
  3. Walmart: Opposition Doesn't Reflect Majority: Unsurprising response but a specific reference by Walmart to their plans to build a Supercenter in North Decatur.
  4. Walker: School Board Has Done Nothing Wrong: A noteworthy response from the DeKalb County Board of Education's chair and a member who represents quite a few residents in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.
  5. Good Growth DeKalb to Hold Concert Fundraiser: It'll be interesting to see how much money they raise.
