The Week in Review

The top five stories from the previous week in the North Druid Hills-Briarcliff area.

  1. : It looked like a great ceremony honoring Liam Rattray, the recent Georgia Tech graduate and former student who was killed Monday in an accident in Little Five Points. North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch was there, and we'll be running a feature on Liam tomorrow, including video from the ceremony.
  2. : Patch contributor Emma Harger wrote a nice piece on the Thrashers who announced Tuesday they're leaving Atlanta for the snowfields of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bummer.
  3. : More revelations about this story, which ended last month in North Druid Hills after the suspect was shot and killed by police.
  4. : Decent news for Lakeside High families. A pretty good education being had over on Briarcliff.
  5. : 's trying some new things in Oak Grove, including a new farmers' market and free meals for children. Patch had the story.
