The Week in Review

The top five stories from the previous week in North Druid Hills-Briarcliff Patch.

  1. : Look for this story to continue (obviously). If this works out for the DeKalb County Board of Education, it could considerably change this area of North Druid Hills (obviously).
  2. : A big, big story that, most likely, is only going to get bigger. I've been hearing about residents who saw their assessments go up by extraordinary percentages. (I'm talking $500K in some instances.) I'm interested in hearing those stories. Email me at jonathan.cribbs@patch.com.
  3. : Likely the final development in this year-long story that started with the strange disappearance of a North Druid Hills musician.
  4. : Burglaries and car break-ins are nothing new to the Medlock community, but this sort of robbery is pretty rare. It got a lot of that community talking.
  5. : Good to know as Walmart makes its way into urban centers. And a continuation of the saga in North Decatur.
