- LAKESIDE HIGH - MEET AND GREET NEW PRINCIPAL RECEPTION: Sunday. Lakeside High School PTSA and School Council invite the Lakeside Community to come meet our new principal, Jason Clyne and his administrative team including Mr. Donnie Davis, Mr. Dave Johnson, Dr. Judith Johnson and Ms. Cindy Mosley.
- Simon Kidgits Club Hosts Interactive, Back-to-School-Focused Activities for Young Students and Parents at Northlake Mall: Saturday. Northlake Mall's Back-to-School event will feature a variety of interactive activities for children and valuable offers for adults, all designed to make transitioning into academic routines a little easier.
- Semi-Pro Basketball Tryouts: The Atlanta Aliens will hold Regional Tryouts in Atlanta GA on Saturday, August 3, 2013. This event will challenge ABA & NBA D-League hopefuls, via full-court scrimmages and player evaluations, to showcase their skills for player personnel executives, coaches and scouts.
- Music Festival: Saturday. Culture, Peace, Unity, Dance, Drums, Music and Art Bringing excitement in Tucker, GA.
- Open House at CrossFit East Decatur: Saturday. Crossfit East Decatur will be hosting our monthly Open House Saturday Aug 3rd at 10:30AM and every 1st Saturday of the month.
