Woman Reports Peeping Tom on Shallowford Road

A mother told police she chased away a Peeping Tom who was spying on her 16-year-old daughter from outside her Shallowford Road apartment late Thursday night, DeKalb County police said.

The woman told police she was checking on her daughter when she noticed a man standing outside her daugter's window at their home in the 2700 block of Shallowford Road at about 11:20pm, the police report said.

The woman said she ran outside and yelled at the suspect who fled into a wooded area behind their apartment building. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a short, medium build between 20 and 22 years old. He wore a gray shirt, blue jeans and work boots.
