Warrant: Fraudulent Wireless Accounts Opened in Northeast, East Cobb
A Dallas woman is in custody in connection with the alleged fraud.

A Dallas woman allegedly pretended to have ties to at least two companies so she could purchase iPhones on fraudulent wireless accounts.
Tabatha Nicole Pritchett allegedly opened the accounts at an AT&T Wireless store in Northeast Cobb and a Verizon Wireless store in East Cobb, according to an arrest warrant.
Between June 22 and June 23, she allegedly went to the Verizon's store at 1311 Johnson Ferry Rd. and opened an account in the name of More Than Design LLC, according to the warrant.
During that visit, Pritchett also purchased seven iPhones on the fraudulently opened account, according to the warrant.
"The retail value of the phones being $4,149.93, said accused did pay a total of $999.94 for the phones as a down payment while entering into a fraudulent two year contract in the name of More Than Design LLC," authorities said.
Between June 29 and July 1, Pritchett allegedly went to the AT&T Wireless store at 50 Ernest Barrett Parkway, Suite 3030 and opened an account in the name of Binkley's Auto Care Inc., according to the warrant.
During the same time frame, she allegedly returned to the Verizon Wireless store in East Cobb and purchased two more iPhones valued at $1,299.98. This time, she put down $399.98, according to the warrant.
When the alleged fraud was discovered, the phones were gone. Authorities estimate the alleged fraud cost Verizon $4,049.99, according to the warrant.
Though the latest charges—two counts each of identity fraud and theft by taking—were not added until July 30, Pritchett has been in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center since July 1, according to online jail records. She has a hold on her release out of Paulding County.
