Oconee Libraries Equipped with Defibrillators

The libraries join other county facilities already outfitted with the life-saving devices.

Add and to the list of Oconee buildings outfitted with Zoll Automated External Defibrillators.  Staff members were trained on how to use the equipment on Feb. 8, trainer Karla Hulsey of Oconee County Fire and Rescue said.

All public schools and the Parks and Recreation Department have the same model as the libraries, she said.

Oconee County Courthouse, Civic Center, Government Annex, Fleet Maintenance, Road Department, Animal Control and Planning/Code Enforcement each house the Cardiac Science 9200RD model, Hulsey said.
