1. Mostly sunny skies and warming temperatures in Oconee today will carry into the weekend.  Today's high will be in the low 50s, and  forecasts call for high temperatures to reach 60 degrees by Sunday, according to the weather channel. 

2. The final day of focuses on Flood Preparedness.  Will your family be ready in the event of an emergency?

3. The University of Georgia hosts a nutritional program at  for members starting at 10:30 a.m.

4. Continuing its celebration of the university's 50 years of desegregation, there will be  a lecture/dialogue at UGA today. Facilitating Interracial Dialogue on College Campuses: Being Courageous begins at 2:30 p.m. at 100 Old College.

5.  varsity girls' and boys' squads take on East Jackson this evening beginning at 6 p.m.  In other sports news, and battle one another on the soccer field.  The girls' game gets underway at 4:30 p.m. and the boys will play at 5:30 p.m.
