Oconee Today -- March 1

We've reached the first day of the third month of the new year. Break open a jar of peanut butter in celebration!

Weather:  High temperatures are once again expected to reach into the mid 70s. The National Weather Service calls for a rainy early and late morning.

Top things to know:

  • Smooth or crunchy?  Whatever your preference, consider observing National Peanut Butter Lovers' Day today by whipping up a batch of Homemade Peanut Butter.
  • March is at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation. The exhibit's opening reception will be held from 4-6 p.m.
  • The Festival & Literary Concert featuring the North Oconee High School Chorus is scheduled for this evening inside the auditorium.
