Regional Roundup: Police ID Victims in Triple Homicide, Man Fires AR-15 During Domestic Dispute, and Suspect Charged in Church Arson

Gwinnett County Police released the identities of three men at a residence on Cannonball Ct. in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

They are Farris Allen, 41, of Lawrenceville, James Edward Isac, 64, of Richmond, VA, and Brian Lamont White, 36, also of Richmond, VA.

GCPD Cpl. Jake Smith said they're also bringing back two men to Gwinnett County who were stopped in Charlotte, NC, to question them about the shootings. The two were arrested and charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine. Detectives do not the men are responsible for the killings and continue to follow leads and look for suspects, Smith said.

 deputies say one of the people involved in a Tuesday domestic dispute fired in their direction numerous rounds from an automatic weapon.

According to the incident report, police responded to the Adairsville home about 10 p.m. after a verbal fight between a man and his girlfriend made the girlfriend’s brother, James Mark Agan, 56, angry. All three were intoxicated.

As the boyfriend, who said he feared for his life, gathered his things to leave his home for the night, deputies heard 10 to 20 shots from a high-powered rifle originate from the home, about 100 yards away, the report said. Police later found a Rock River Arms AR-15 on top of a washer and dryer in the home and 19 spent .223 rounds in the front yard.

Agan was charged with three counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and discharging a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

 

A suspected arsonist has now been charged in last week's fire at .

David Wayne Stone, 23, is charged with burglary, arson and vandalism to a place of worship in the Zoar UMC fire. Each of the charges are felonies.

The fire happened in the early morning hours of Feb. 24. No was injured, and working sprinklers prevented the fire from causing any major damage.

In addition to the aforementioned arson, burglary and vandalism charges, Stone is accused in a series of other incidents the night of the Zoar UMC fire.

Those charges include: two more counts of burglary (felonies), two counts of second-degree criminal damage of property (felonies), theft by shoplifting (a misdemeanor) and violation of probation (a misdemeanor).
