Cleanup Planned For Crooked Creek
The event in Peachtree Corners is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA -- Want to help make the great outdoors a little greater? Now's your chance.
A cleanup of Crooked Creek in Peachtree Corners has been scheduled for Saturday.
Participants in the event, co-sponsored by Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, are asked to meet at Panera Bread Company on Holcomb Bridge Road, near Peachtree Parkway, at 8:30 a.m. to discuss logistics.

The stretch of Crooked Creek that will be cleaned starts at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and runs for about a mile downstream.
The cleanup should be finished by noon.

Participants are encouraged to wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants and shoes that can get wet. Gloves and trash bags will be provided.
Participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver. No one under 12 may participate and participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
In the event of rain, the cleanup will be rescheduled for May 28 at 8:30 a.m.
