I recently had the pleasure to speak with Bob Malone, The Keyboard Wizard on my podcast, TFTC with Bob Nebel. Mr. Malone has been in the music business for over 25 years and has scores of solo releases to speak of, including his latest, Good People. This album shines with mostly original compositions including “The River Gives,” “Empty Hallways” and its Gospel-inspired title track as well as a pandemic-related song, “My Friends and I.” The release also features covers of John Fogerty’s “Bad Moon Rising” and Bob Dylan’s “Tangled Up In Blue.”

Speaking of John Fogerty, Malone toured with the solo performer who was a member of Creedence Clearwater Revival since 2011. Malone also recorded with Ringo Starr and Avril Lavigne.

Malone is also known for his 2018 song, “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch,” a Randy Newman-ish song for the film Nothing But Love.

On Sunday, April 3, Malone will be appearing at The Red Clay Music Foundry in Duluth. Click here for tickets to this amazing event.
