The award-winning chef’s kitchen is truly the heart of this Peachtree Corners home, with spectacular design, high-end appliances and plenty of room for entertaining. The custom cabinets are crafted with inset doors and drawers and feature soft close hinges along with brass handles. The unique zephyr hood is wrapped in antique shiplap. All of the appliances are built-in, including the refrigerator, two dishwashers and ice machine, coffee machine at the beverage center and steam oven. The 48-inch range is the new 2020 Jenn Air Curate with remote and Wi-Fi Capabilities. The kitchen features a 4’ x 10’ main island with two sinks and dual faucets along with a wood burning fireplace. The custom, hand-cut glass backsplash, inset with Carrera marble, creates the contrast against the quartzite ocean blue countertop. The large vestige carpet ceramic tile floor gives a unique look to this state-of-the-art kitchen, while a breakfast nook with antique wood ceiling provides a lovely space for casual dining.
“I am so proud of this kitchen and excited it has won the Best Kitchen contest,” said Rogers. “My goal was to create a gathering place filled with energy and light and designed for quality family time and entertainment. I began with the beautiful sapphire backsplash from AKDO, which became the inspiration for the entire design. Thankfully, we had ample space to work with, and I am thrilled with the final result.”
