Peachtree Corners Looking Into Coyote Concerns
A group has complained to the city after they say a small dog was killed by the animals.
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA — The City of Peachtree Corners is looking into ways to deal with citizens' concerns about coyotes roaming the area.
A spokeswoman said Wednesday that the issue was first brought to the city's attention at its October 18 council meeting.
Mayor Mike Mason said the city is "investigating on appropriate action that the city can take to help keep Peachtree Corners citizens and community safe from coyotes."

According to a CBS 46 report, families in the area are concerned after a small dog was killed by coyotes.
A resident, who provided the station with a photo of a coyote he took in his own yard, said a group of 20-30 of the animals is known to roam wooded areas near the Chattahoochee River. But, recently, they've begun coming into neighborhoods more frequently, he said.

Residents plan to bring up the issue again at the Peachtree Corners council's November meeting.
