Boyfriend Wanted For Roswell Murder Killed By Colorado Police: Reports
A Roswell man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend was shot and killed by Colorado police overnight, according to a report.
ROSWELL, GA — A man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend in Roswell was killed by police in Aurora, Colorado, during a standoff Monday night, KDVR-TV in Colorado reported.
According to Roswell police, on July 6, officers responded to a call about a woman who had been shot on the 100 block of Old Ferry Way. Officers found Johana Cabrales-Hernandez, 23, dead. Her boyfriend, Fabien Perry, 27, was wanted for murder in connection with her death, Roswell police said.
Cabrales-Hernandez’ family became concerned after her two young children were abruptly dropped off at a nearby family member’s home by a yet-unidentified person, police said. Family immediately went to Cabrales-Hernandez’ home where she was found dead, police said.

Investigators said July 7 they believed Perry left Georgia and could possibly be heading to Frederick, Maryland, Wilmington or Dover, Delaware, Charlotte, North Carolina or Columbia, South Carolina.
Aurora police told KDVR-TV that the suspect was shot by police after he barricaded himself inside a home for more than 11 hours. He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No officers were injured.
