ROSWELL, GA — A firefighter was injured while tending to a blaze that caused 17 people to be displaced Sunday morning at an Ashley Forest Drive neighborhood, Roswell Fire said.

The fire sparked shortly after midnight at an apartment complex. Fire officials said, when they arrived, they found light smoke and "a hidden fire" traveling through concealed walls between several adjoining units.

Crews spent the night opening walls and attempting to hinder the fire from spreading, fire officials said.
