Civil War Living History Weekend Set For May 6-7

From Barrington Hall: Come to the live Civil War reenactment Barrington Hall! See Civil War soldiers encamped on the grounds, demonstrating period weapons, military drill and daily life in the 1860s. Participate in period dance demonstrated by the Stately Vintage Dancers of Jonesboro, GA both Saturday and Sunday. Listen to musical entertainment provided by the 8th Regiment Band of Rome, GA, on Saturday only, from the front porch of Barrington Hall. Participate in demonstrations and lectures in the barn activity room of Barrington Hall.

Stop by the children’s area with fun activities for young children. Concessions available for purchase. May 6 – May 7, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Location: Barrington Hall at 535 Barrington Dr. in Roswell. Admission is free. Please call 770-640-3855 for additional information.
