Earth Day Kids Fest Date Announced, Sponsors Wanted
Captain Planet Foundation and the Chattahoochee Nature Center will hold the 10th annual event on Saturday, April 14.
Organizers have set Saturday, April 14 as the official date for this year's Earth Day Kids Fest (EDKF).
The 10th annual event - hosted by the Captain Planet Foundation (CPF) and the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) - is a highly-motivational eco-event where children and youth learn how to become great stewards of the planet in fun and exciting ways.
This year’s goal is to encourage people to take individual actions as a part of the Earth Day Network’s (EDN) “Billion Acts of Green.” Visits with Captain Planet, Laughing Pizza and live native animals are on the agenda, as well as fun activities like face painting, canoe paddling and shopping in the green Eco-Village marketplace.
