Fulton GOP Hosting Legislative Luncheon

The Fulton County Republican Party (FCRP) is hosting its 2012 Legislative Luncheon on Friday, Feb. 3 at 11:30 am at . The annual event is an opportunity for both members of the Fulton County Republican Party and non-members to network directly with state representatives and senators. 

The program will include comments from Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones and Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers on the priorities for this year’s legislative session that is now under way. 

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet and talk with the full Fulton County Republican legislative delegation, including the new legislators who now represent Fulton County due to redistricting. The new House Representatives for Fulton County are: Calvin Hill (House District 22), Mike Dudgeon (HD 25), Rich Golick (HD 40), Matt Dollar (HD 45), Mike Jacobs (HD 80), Tom Rice (HD 95). New Senators are Mike Crane (Senate District 28) and Fran Millar (SD 40). 

“We are excited to have Betty Price, Council Member in Roswell, as moderator.” said Roger Bonds, FCRP Chairman.  “The program will include the practical realities of the 2012 legislative redistricting and how it will impact many issues important to Fulton County voters.”

The Republican presidential candidates have been invited to the luncheon for remarks. This luncheon falls three days after Florida’s primary and approximately one month ahead of the Georgia primary. 

“The timing of this year’s Legislative Luncheon provides a great opportunity for the candidates to speak directly with many of the most active Republicans in Fulton County prior to the Georgia primary and to have access to Georgia’s largest media market,” said Bonds.
