How To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Roswell
The city will take part in the statewide Bring One for the Chipper campaign on Saturday, Jan. 5.

ROSWELL, GA — Now that the Christmas holiday is receding in the rear-view mirror, you will have to find a suitable place to dispose of the tree that was the center of your decorations.
For Roswell residents, you can take advantage of a free service offered by Keep Roswell Beautiful and recycle your Christmas tree as part of the state's 29th annual Bring One for the Chipper initiative.
Residents can bring their trees to one of two Home Depot locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 in Roswell for recycling:

- 1580 Holcomb Bridge Road in Holcomb Woods Shopping Center
- 870 Woodstock Road across from Publix
Trees will be chipped into mulch and will be available for delivery to the public by Davey Tree. Residents are asked not to drop off trees before Jan. 5. To request mulch, visit the Keep Georgia Beautiful website.

In 2018, KRB was awarded the Bring One for the Chipper Award from the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation for collecting the most trees per capita of any state affiliate. KRB collected 5,075 trees for the win.
Keep Roswell Beautiful has joined with sponsors The Home Depot, 11 Alive, The Davey Tree Expert Company, and the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation to sponsor the event as part of a statewide effort to reuse Christmas trees.
