Who should you turn to in a rapidly changing real estate market?
If you needed a complex medical procedure, would you choose a doctor fresh out of med school — or one with years of experience who’d done the procedure successfully hundreds of times?
The answer of course is obvious: experience matters. The same is true for the largest financial transaction of your life: the buying and selling of a home — even more so in today’s complex and fast-changing real estate market.

Here are the top three stories today in Roswell:
- On March 8, Roswell police received a call from a woman who said she was followed in a vehicle by a former coworker. She told police that she was followed to the Garrard Landing Park. The pursuer parked behind her car to prevent her from leaving. The woman told police that the former coworker had been fired from her place of employment in October, but was "fixated" on her and continued to show up at the worksite. She was followed and chased by the individual once she left work that day. By the time police arrived at the scene the former coworker had already fled the scene. Officers found the pursuer and arrested the individual who was later booked into Fulton County Jail.(appenmedia.com)
- A local father from Roswell has been trying to bring his wife back to the United States since 2018. Jason Rochester met his wife in the U.S. and the two have been married for 16 years. Rochester and his son has been trying to get the wife and mother back to U.S. soil after she voluntarily left for Mexico in 2018 due to fears of deportation. He has had to communicate with her through video calls for the past five years. During this time he has had to deal with his young son's battle with cancer. He is hoping to find a resolution on Capitol Hill through his support of the American Families United Act. This bill would give U.S. citizens the right to request a case-by-case waiver for non-citizen family members to live in the country. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Here's a little bit of North Fulton history to share this week. Sun Valley Beach Park was a popular hangout during the 1950s and 1960s and was located on Highway 9 between Roswell and Alpharetta. Joe C. Mansell was the founder, main investor and operator for the site which was originally opened as just a fishing lake in 1950. The park soon grew to include a 14-acre swimming lake that came with an imported white sand beach, two lakes for boating and fishing , a skating rink and a stable for horseback riding. In the early 1960s, a bowling alley was added. The park was sold to John Talbott, Jr., an Atlanta physician, in 1965 and closed three years later. Now the land on Sun Valley Drive off of Alpharetta Highway is filled with businesses, apartments and overgrown vegetation. Today, remnants of the park can scarcely be detected. (appenmedia.com)
