What: Roswell's Fireworks Extravaganza

Where: Roswell Area Park, 10495 Woodstock Road, Roswell

When: 6-10 p.m., July 4

Per the City of Roswell, on its website:

"There will be family-friendly bands performing starting at 6 p.m. on the Crabapple Field. The band will take a break at 7:30 p.m. and start another set from 8-9:30 p.m. In addition, the main stage audio will be broadcasted to other viewing areas during all announcements. The park has centrally located playgrounds and open fields for play."

Food trucks will be available at the event.

Where: City Green at City Springs, 1 Galambos Way, Sandy Springs

When: 6-9:30 p.m., July 4

The city provided on its website the following "Know Before You Go" tips:

  • 4 p.m. Shuttle begins running from Lake Forest Elementary
  • 4 p.m. City Green opens
  • 6 p.m. Food trucks open
  • 7:30-9:30 p.m. Music by The Platinum Band
  • 9:30 p.m. Fireworks start
