• Auburn Tigers land pair of USF offensive transfers from the portal (flywareagle.com) — Auburn’s latest football transfer news has a Roswell connection: running back Nykahi Davenport, a Roswell native, is heading to play for new Tigers coach Alex Golesh after starring at USF. Davenport, part of the 2024 recruiting class, reunites with his former coach alongside tight end Jonathan Echols as Auburn reloads its high-powered offense.
   

• Alpharetta in review: City ends 2025 with historic jail reopening (appenmedia.com) — If someone is arrested in Roswell, they may soon be held at Alpharetta’s newly reopened detention center, which replaces the shuttered Fulton County North Annex Jail. Alpharetta invested $1.6 million to renovate and staff the 72-bed facility and is negotiating agreements with Roswell, Milton, and Johns Creek to house their detainees under improved conditions.
