Roswell Plans Walking Tours Of Historic District
The tours will be held Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4, and are designed to get input on the city's Historic District Master Plan.

ROSWELL, GA — Roswell's Community Development Department will host walking tours of its Historic District with the public. These tours, which are part of the city's efforts to get input on its Historic District Master Plan, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4.
Participants are asked to meet at the main stairs in the front of Roswell City Hall at 38 Hill Street. During the tours, city staffers will ask participants for their take on aspects of the Historic District they like and what they think should be changed. The walking tours will take two separate routes.
The goal of the Historic District Master Plan is to "develop a vision for Roswell’s Historic District and to develop the tools to achieve those goals and vision," the city said.

In addition to the walking tours, Roswell is planning additional public input through work sessions, a charrette, and a survey. The mayor and City Council have also appointed local residents to an Historic District Master Plan Advisory Committee which will assist in formulating the charrette, discuss public input and help formulate the master plan.
