Roswell Youth Theatre Announces 'Twinderella' Auditions

The auditions will be open for youth ages 8 to 18 on Jan 30 with callbacks on Jan 31.

From Roswell Youth Theatre: Roswell Youth Theatre, a program of Roswell Performing Arts, announces auditions for its spring play, “Twinderella.” Auditions are open to youth ages 8 to 18 and will be held at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center on January 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with callbacks on January 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

“Twinderella” tells the comical story of Bob, Cinderella’s long lost twin brother. Living in the same kingdom with different wicked stepfamilies, Cinderella’s cruel stepmother and evil stepsisters make her rotate tires and polish bowling trophies, while Bob’s evil stepfather and cruel stepbrothers force him to make dried herb wreaths and organize their sock drawers. A hilarious spoof of the classic Cinderella fairy tale, “Twinderella” will delight actors and audiences alike with humor for all ages!

Young people interested in auditioning for the cast should prepare a one-minute monologue from a published play. Weekly rehearsals will begin February 6, 2017, and will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Roswell Area Park. “Twinderella” performances will take place on May 12 and 13, 2017.
