NORTH FULTON, GA — North Fulton Community Charities' annual Warm Coat Drive began this season facing the greatest need in recent times. Rising inflation has hit everyone in the wallet, but those closest to the poverty line are most significantly impacted by the sharply rising prices of virtually all consumer goods.

The fact is that children quickly outgrow seasonal clothing and often have to have new coats every winter establishing an ongoing need for warm outer garments.

Local charities and civic groups supporting the cause were especially motivated this year to help our youngest neighbors stay warm this winter.

Congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fulton county and East Marietta came together to support the effort. Donation bins were added to each building in the Stake (diocese) and the word went out in each group explaining the specific needs for donations.
