  1. Savannah-Chatham County School District is hiring a new superintendent, and data is available to see how much someone in this position could potentially earn compared to neighboring districts. The district is the only one in the top ten largest school districts located outside of Atlanta. Despite its larger size (roughly 36,000 students), the most recently reported salary for the district is only about $6,000 more than nearby Bryan County Schools, which has approximately one-third of the student population. Superintendent salary can be negotiated and will vary based on years of experience, budget allocations, and other negotiable elements such as bonuses or expenses. (The Current GA)
  2. Mr. Tal Loos will be joining Savannah Technical College (STC) as Vice President of Economic Development. He was most recently the dean of the Aviation Division at STC and will retain his leadership role with that team. In his new role, he intends to evaluate and implement economic development services that support leadership and supervision for staff. (Savannah CEO)
  3. WSAV recently highlighted Euphoria Sound Studio, a local recording studio working with a variety of genres including gospel, pop, R&B, and more. They have three studios to record podcasts, beats, and records, and they're always looking to take it to the next level. The studio, run by Ashton Harris and Zhane Willis, is where the duo makes Willis's father's, Ricky Willis AKA Mr.DoYaSelfaFavor, famous rap commercial for the Mike Hostillo Law Firm. (WSAV-TV)
